Bhavana enacts the role of a basketball player in her forthcoming film Jeyam Kondan, which is being directed by Kannan, who formerly worked as an assistant to Mani Ratnam. Vinay of Unnale Unnale fame is cast opposite her. Although the actress had many releases last year, most of her films did only average business at the box office. Having considered this fact, the actress is now more careful about the roles she takes up.
Ironically, Bhavana had no clue about basketball when she accepted the offer for this film. But now, she is said to be seriously practicing the game to bring a sense of realism to her character. “She can even participate in a state level tournament,” vouches a unit hand on seeing her practice the game.
